Preach the Gospel (The Great Commission)

“I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭1:14‬

As believers of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ we are responsible for preaching the gospel to every creature. To the Greeks (the high class people) and to the Barbarians (the people that are cast off); both to the wise (the people with multiple degrees) and to the unwise (the people that do not need to be validated by man’s papers). We can not be fearful or respecter of persons when it comes to ministering God’s word. Continue reading “Preach the Gospel (The Great Commission)”

Let’s Re-Evaluate!

The theme for this season is ‘all things new’. New habits, new levels, new blessings, new everything. I am here to warn you that we will never get to the next level or destination by holding on to old stuff. Still lacking faith, still not reading God’s Word, still being lazy, still not praying enough, still judging and not looking in our own mirror, still being selfish, still being stingy, still acting like the old you; no, not happening. We are to be transformed by the renewing, regeneration, remodeling, refreshing, re-everything of our mind (Romans 12:2). Often times it’s not a one time thing. We are to grow daily (Philippians 1:6). We are to stay pliable to the hand of God (Jeremiah 18:6). As soon as we think that we have arrived and get way too comfortable then that is when we will start to get dry.

Be blessed.

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans‬ ‭12:2‬

“And why stand we in jeopardy every hour? I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:30-31‬

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:17‬

Where Are They Now?

My heart breaks to hear of people worshipping and honoring false gods and practices. Why, you ask? Because there is no other name given among men whereby we must be saved other than the name of Jesus. They do these things and then when they run into life’s trials, they become stuck. There are people out there looking for deliverance and healing but it’s not anywhere near. Where is Buddha, where is Allah, where are the stars and the universe when they need to be consoled and made whole and/or receive a breakthrough? The answer is nowhere. Only Jesus is the true Redeemer.

Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfies your mouth with good things; so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” Psalms 103:1-5

Come Higher!

This is the time for the people of God to start elevating in their spiritual gifts. God is saying do not hide your talents in the ground any longer. All believers have spiritual gifts because God himself said that in the last days he will pour out his Spirit upon all flesh. Let’s touch on the gift of “a word of knowledge”. A word of knowledge is when God is showing us something that he knows and we do not, or something that will help minister to a situation to bring forth God’s will and purpose. A word of knowledge can also be used as a vehicle to speaking what the Lord wants you to say to a person or people.

For example purposes only:

  • God shows you a stop sign. You would say to the person that God is trying to stop them in their tracks and to have them surrender to his love.
  • God shows you a song lyric or scripture for someone who is feeling down and defeated and that could be a simple, “The joy of the Lord is your strength.” That is what you should tell that person.
  • God places a homeless person on your heart and he wants you to bless them the next time you see them.

So on and so forth.

Obviously the more you exercise the gift, the more advanced you will be. It’s like learning to walk or ride a bike. Also remember that we cannot force the gift because it is a process. We also recommend the book ‘Prophet Arise’ by John Eckhardt when it comes to this topic!

We hope this message blesses you dearly!

“Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy…” 1 Corinthians 14:39

“Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.” Matthew 10:26-27

“For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.” Matthew 10:20

The Lord is My Shepherd!

As citizens of the kingdom of God we should not be used to lack. The Word says that the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. Everything belongs to God. That means if we have a need, being a child of the Most High, we should not be afraid to ask for it. We have not because we ask not. If we can open our mouth to express irrelevant things then why not verbalize to the Lord whatsoever it is that we have need of in our alone time with the Father. Communication is a vital part of relationship, and relationship surpasses religion. God’s a heart searcher. If we doubt that God can supply our every need, then we absolutely must be transformed by the renewing of our minds. Doubt is the opposite of trust. Keep in mind that God withholds no good thing from them that walk uprightly.

Peace and grace,
