Faith in Full Effect!

Faith! Oh that precious word! But it is not just a word. It is noun and also an action. Faith involves loyalty and devotion to something. Faith is a belief and trust: giving your diligence to something. Faith involves a strong conviction. It is a dedication and declaration that you are standing on what you know to be true. Faith can be placed in good things and in bad things. Many people can place their faith in the wrong person, without the realization that man (people) can and will fail you. But do you know that the Savior, who is Jesus Christ will never fail you? That is exciting to know isn’t it? So how do we get to a place of having our faith in full effect and even greater, in a position where our faith is in the right foundation and soil according to the Word of the Lord? Well, let us dive in shall we?

There is a natural faith which says, “seeing is believing” and there is the spiritual faith that says, “believing is seeing.”  Hebrews 11:1-2 (AMP) is a perfect illustration that tells us the spiritual meaning of faith: ” Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses]. When one has faith according to the Word of God, visual proof is not needed because the trust, assurance and hope is placed in the hands of the Almighty God who does not and cannot fail us. Once the Lord gives us faith according to his Spirit, he holds us accountable and to be responsible with the faith he has given to us. It is the expectation for us to maintain, exercise and increase our faith.

Faith in the Lord contains confidence, reassurance, truth, dependency and reliability.  As long as we put our full faith (trust, dependency and reliance) in the Lord, we can overcome the world (1 John 5:4).

Let us dive even deeper shall we?

Faith according to God’s word operates in the realm of the unseen. If you have to see it to believe it, there is a significant lack of faith in ones life. Faith is believing which allows us to see with spiritual eyes. When we have the faith of the Lord, our perception changes and begins to align itself with the will and outlook that God wants us to see. Faith rises above our doubts, our fears, our worries, our emotions, our lack, our questions, our uncertainties, our SELF! Faith increases our spiritual tenacity and allows us the ability to all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13). Faith is foundation of our salvation. Without faith, it is impossible to please God, (Hebrews 11:6). Without faith, we operate in the realm of fear, which is the very opposite of what we are to walk in.

We want to encourage you all today to put your faith in the right source, which is Jesus Christ. As stated prior, man (people) will fail you and that is a guarantee. However, when your faith is placed in the Lord, you can guarantee that he will NEVER fail you, forsake, or leave you! Some one needs to know and hear on today: Hold on to the faith!

Faith produces substance within us. Faith operates along with works. We cannot have faith without works. We cannot have works with out faith. Remember, faith is an action!

So in all, let faith be your belief! Let your faith be planted in the solid soil of the Lord. Let your confidence and trust be placed in the Lord, which is your faith! It is our faith, not feelings, that determine the reality of our facts, our outcomes, our opinions, our situations and our all.  Now is the time to put your faith in FULL effect!

May the Lord bless you!
