Believing is Seeing.

“Jesus said, Take you away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, says unto him, Lord, by this time he stinks: for he has been dead four days. Jesus says unto her, Said I not unto you, that, if you would believe, you shouldest see the glory of God?” John 11:39-40

Hello people of God. Shalom and good will to you all. God has given a word to share with his people. The word is that God is saying this is the season where we are called to roll away the stone from all of our what we thought were “dead”, situations. Our hopes, our dreams, our visions, our plans, our hearts desires, our relationships, etc. It is resurrection time. Some people may even say to themselves, “God, my situation stinks because it’s been dead for so long.” But our Lord is a Redeemer and redeem means to restore, fix, take back what belongs, to bring life!

Jesus reminds us that believing is key. If we would believe then we should see the glory of God. Most would rather see the glory first and then believe, but that is not the definition of faith. We walk by faith and not by sight (2 Cor 5:7). Our whole salvation is faith based. Jesus Christ said it himself, “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe.” (John 20:29)

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, (Hebrews 11:1). I like to think of faith as a resource, meaning the more we have of it the more we are able to obtain with it. With God all things are possible. Isn’t that awesome!

May this post bless and encourage all those who read it and it help bring life to every “dead” situation, in the marvelous name of Jesus our King! Amen!
