The Anchor

Good morning and happy Monday! Here’s a couple of questions for us to ponder on today:

What are we holding on to support us and keep us in a position of not sinking? What are we tied to that keeps us ashore instead of sinking in the deep waters?

When one has a foundation in Jesus Christ, they can be assured without hesitation that their anchor of support will not fail them! Why? Because the Lord Almighty is the greatest support! The true anchor in this life is Jesus Christ. He keeps us from falling, being led astray, and losing focus on what truly matters.

When the Lord is our anchor, we can be sure that our establishment will not come untied. The knot will remain firm and tightened in which no thing can loosen it, break it, release it, cut it or destroy it. The anchor of the Lord is what keeps us grounded so that we don’t go astray and become steered into the wrong direction. The anchor of the Lord is our hope. The anchor is what we build upon and stand upon! The anchor holds us in place so we don’t get out of alignment with the Lord! Let the Lord be your anchor today! For the anchor, who is Jesus Christ, represents our lifeline! We need him each and every day! Grab ahold to the anchor today and never let go!
