Christ Is The Example

Jesus died and Jesus rose again the third day. With that being said, when ministering the gospel to the unsaved we can not expect them to be Jesus at the snap of a finger. In actually there is only one Jesus. Jesus could’ve easily rose up three hours afterwards (he has the power to lay it down and take it back his life whenever he wanted) but that was not in God’s divine plan. Being Commissioned

“There came a man commissioned and sent from God, whose name was John. This man came as a witness, to testify about the Light, so that all might believe [in Christ, the Light] through him. John was not the Light, but came to testify about the Light.” -JOHN‬ ‭1:6-8‬ ‭AMP‬‬

As we see here in these verses, John who was a follower of Jesus Christ was sent out by God to spread the Good News. So what does it mean to be commissioned? Well, to be commissioned by the Lord is to be appointed, consecrated, chosen and set apart. It is also a great assignment or assignments that come with being commissioned. Being commissioned also involves direction, a charge and commands that come with instructions to follow. It is also about Continue reading “Being Commissioned”

Hear Ye Him Today!

“And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus says unto him, They have no wine. Jesus says unto her, Woman, what have I to do with you? my hour is not yet come. His mother says unto the servants, Whatsoever –>he<– says unto you, do it.” John‬ ‭2:3-5‬

Good day, friends. We pray that all is well. We are here to give this message in love. This message will touch on Jesus being the only and true way to God. Whatever we need from God we have to go through Jesus Christ to receive it. Jesus stated that up until now we have not asked anything in his name and that whatever we ask in his name we shall receive so that our joy may be full (John 16:24). Love Your Neighbor

Jesus said unto him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, You shall love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Matthew‬ ‭22:37-40‬

Love is an action word here. We are commanded to love God and people not only on the outside but inside most importantly (heart, soul, and mind). We are also commanded to love ourselves as well. When we love ourselves, then that means we know for a fact that we are fearfully and wonderfully made by Jesus. If we realize that for ourselves, we will realize that for others.

Peace and grace,

The Suddenly Moments

“But about midnight when Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them; suddenly there was a great earthquake, so [powerful] that the very foundations of the prison were shaken and at once all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were unfastened.” – ACTS‬ ‭16:25-26‬ ‭AMP‬‬

The Lord knows the exact and right time to shake and break things loose! He is the God that can do things SUDDENLY! When we keep our eyes focused on the Lord, we trust his timing and keep a heart full of prayer, Continue reading “The Suddenly Moments”

Leading a Person to Jesus

I can recall the times I’ve had people ask me, “How do you lead someone to Jesus? What are the steps to help someone become saved? What do I do? What do I say?”

Many people feel that leading a person to Jesus needs to be a very deep complexed process and that is not the case. When leading someone to Jesus, first and foremost, you want to reference Romans 10:8-11. It states:

“But what does it say? “THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART ”–that is, the word Continue reading “Leading a Person to Jesus”

He Is Risen!

God is love. That same love was the love that raised Jesus from the dead. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever shall believe on him shall be saved. In other words, despite of our behavior, God still sent us a Savior. How awesome is that? Let us recognize and give honor, as we should daily, to our Wonderful and Everlasting Lord and King, Jesus Christ!

Happy Resurrection Sunday!

The Foundation of Obedience

LUKE‬ ‭6:46-49‬ ‭AMP

‬‬“Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not practice what I tell you? Everyone who comes to Me and listens to My words and obeys them, I will show you whom he is like: he is like a [far-sighted, practical, and sensible] man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation on the rock; and when a flood occurred, the torrent burst against that house and yet could not shake it, Continue reading “The Foundation of Obedience”
