Love Your Neighbor

Jesus said unto him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, You shall love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Matthew‬ ‭22:37-40‬

Love is an action word here. We are commanded to love God and people not only on the outside but inside most importantly (heart, soul, and mind). We are also commanded to love ourselves as well. When we love ourselves, then that means we know for a fact that we are fearfully and wonderfully made by Jesus. If we realize that for ourselves, we will realize that for others.

Peace and grace,

Compassion is one of the major characters of the Lord that was demonstrated in his ministry.  This along with servanthood was a part of the foundation of his great message to all. Compassion is a great demonstration of how the body of Christ is to function. Continue reading “Are you Moved to Compassion?”
